How to use Worksheet Eraser, and what to do when marks remain

The basic flow is upload, erase automatically, touch up by hand, and save as PDF. Below that is a list of settings to change when the result isn't quite right.

The basic flow

Upload photos

Press "Upload photos" and pick one or more pictures of the test. On a computer you can also drag them onto the workspace. A sample test is loaded when you first open the page, so you can try every tool before using your own photo.

Fix corners (for angled photos)

"Fix corners" shows four blue dots. Drag each one to a corner of the page and press "Apply" to straighten it. Turn on "Letter-size proportions" for standard US Letter paper.

Erase automatically

Red pen, blue pen and highlighter are removed as soon as the photo loads. Untick a color in the settings if you want to keep it.

Touch up by hand

Choose "Eraser" and rub out what's left. Rub with the "Restore brush" to bring back anything erased by mistake. "Size" changes the brush, and "Undo" goes back one stroke at a time. Choose "View" when you want to scroll the page.

Compare and save

Slide "Compare" to see the original on the left and the result on the right. Check that numbers and answer choices are intact, then press "Save as PDF". Several pages are saved together in one PDF.
